Winter Lights
The midnight snow
Gently whispers on my cheeks.
Singing a silent hymn,
The frozen crystals waltz down from heaven.
Like galaxies, they shine in the city's glow,
And I am caught in a world of frosted fireflies.
My soul lifts to meet their cold hands
So that I, too, may be illuminated by the winter lights.
